Sonny’s is a little shanty style place on the beach in Nevis, that serves up wonderful ribs and beer. They are famous for the “Killer Bee”, a drink with a sting. I did not try, as I wanted to be walking by the end of the day. Food wise it was great food, I was especially delighted with the rice and lentils. It added a wonderful texture and blandness that offset the spice on the ribs.

The time spent in Nevis, we learned how to travel there.  There are three ways, rental, taxi and bus.  The first two ways are pretty self explanatory, but the bus.  The bus there is really a large Van with 3 or 4 bench seats and christian rock music blasting.

To catch the bus, stand by the road (on the wrong side of the road) and a Van will stop.  You will hop in and tell the driver were you want off.  In general, it is about $4.00 EC or a $1.75 US.  Not too bad to travel the entire distance around an Island.  In the time it takes you to go from Charleston to Nisbet, you will get the chance to see about 1/3 of the Island, plus all the little roads that are not normally taken.
